October 11th, 2003 New Roads Day Run

Here's a pic of the ferry landing area near New Roads. We headed across the river and ate at a restaurant called Satterfield's. The ferry was a nice touch to Dave's route plan.

The view from Satterfield's on the False River. The road winding along the River was nice. We'll come back and visit when we have more time.
We then blazed over to Joey's place in Lacombe for some chillin', grillin' and swillin'. Thanks to Joey and his wife Lorraine for having us over. Also, John and Dave. You guys did a great job of making this happen. Really, everyone contributed to making this a great time. THANK YOU!!
